EDI offers a comprehensive design and planning service, whether it's sketches of small gardens, or detailed AutoCAD layouts for more complex projects.

We will schedule an appointment to meet with you on your property. During this initial consultation, we will look and listen to what you are wanting to incorporate into your property, as well as provide recommendations and feedback based upon our extensive experience. This will include such areas as budget, different types of products and the overall finished looks. After determining the scope of the job requirements, we will have most all of the information we need to quote the design phase  and also the approximate labor hours to design your new space. The initial visit is $75.00, and designs are billed at $75.00 per hour. Please note that the initial consultation fee will be credited to the design phase if you choose to proceed.

Site plans are developed with the property and main design features shown with detailed labels. These are printed for your review. Design development typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.

We will then meet with you again to review the initial design. This review should address any concerns or questions either party may have, and a clear understanding as to how the development process is to proceed.

With design revisions (if any) in hand, we will update the design. The final completed design will also contain a take off and final estimate including line item detail for the entire project. You will receive this by Email (or other convenience) prior to the final review appointment.

During our final appointment, we will review the scope of the work to be performed and work out any details that should be addressed. At this point all products will be agreed upon and a final sign off will conclude the meeting. We will then send you by Email (or other convenience) the project contract and proposed start date.
