Hi, I’m writing from the lovely country of Germany, where my husband and I live and work. We are U.S. citizens and have a home in Coweta Co. GA. We had a water problem on our property, it was so severe it washed away the side of a small hill and was continuing to ruin the lawn as well as the hillside. The same problem was occurring on the other side of the house as well. I searched the internet while still in Germany looking for landscape companies and solutions. We spoke with several companies and had a few estimates, none of their design ideas appealed to us. Then we found Earthscape Designs. We communicated via e-mail for approximately 2 months determining design and cost. Brent was very knowledgeable and was comfortable with questions and our own design thoughts. If he felt something we wanted wouldn’t work, he said so and explained why. He always answered all questions with wit and respect. We arrived at a consensus, flew back to the States to meet with Brent in June of 2006, and signed a contract. While there, we visited several homes and the owners to assess the work and design completed by EDI. We were very impressed by the beauty and style of their landscaped areas. The owners said the very same things I have to say. We are more than pleased with the design, craftsmanship and quality of the work of EDI! They are a reliable and honest company to work with. The work on two large sections needing pavers, the hillside needing steps and a dry bed creek to correct the washing problem, and the other washing problem on the other side all were completed in 5-6 days. Bill was the project manager and a joy to work with. I really wanted to choose the large boulders we were putting in and he was very friendly and helpful. He was more than gracious as he hauled around boulders till I found what I liked. He truly is an artist and fun to work with. The work crew was fast, efficient and friendly. They certainly knew what they were doing. They cleaned up each day and worked around our tenant’s needs so as not to disrupt their coming and going. We remained at our home until the work was completed. Our neighbors visited often and were so impressed with the work that they asked for business cards! Our tenants are thrilled with the outcome of the work. In the Fall, the landscaping will be completed when the plants and trees are installed. We are so pleased with their work that they will do the Fall planting as well as continue to maintain and care for our property on a weekly basis. I cannot come up with any aspect we were not totally satisfied with. Brent and Bill are truly gifted and flexible. I must add a personal note, my husband wanted to leave most of the design and questions to me as he feels I have a good idea of what would work. He was the technical side. I was really happy to work with Brent and Bill. They worked directly with me and never went “over my head” to talk “man to man” with my husband. So any of you ladies contemplating using their service, feel comfortable knowing that you will be treated with respect and professionalism.

Annie Doris and I had an idea of a design we would like. Thank you for your professional talents in taking our ideas and incorporating them with yours to produce such an outstanding patio and garden. You are to be commended in having such a fine staff of young men who carry out your instructions. Although we could not communicate with each one due to our inability to speak Spanish, they all seemed to understand and with a professional manner installed this beautiful patio. We had no idea of what was about to be realized! Donna Knew about EDI though a recent visit and suggested we contact you for a consultation. Both of us were quite impressed with you personally and for your design suggestions. We must confess we did exceed our original idea quite extensively and were a bit concerned that perhaps we were doing too much. From the day work began through completion, we most impressed by the quality of your work, the professionalism of your crew, and the timeliness of completion. Not only did you change our backyard from a miserable mud pit to a completely new living space but the end result was more outstanding than we ever imagined. We have received rave reviews from family, friends, and in particular, all our neighbors. We are also most grateful that the work was completed in time for our sons’ graduation party. Again, we could not be more pleased or excited for what you have done for us and have recommended you to all who might need such work preformed. Thanks again and we look forward to many years enjoying out new courtyard.
